What is StuBL?
Where Students and Businesses Link.
StuBL started from the question that haunts students getting ready to enter the job market: how do I get the experience without a job, and a job without experience?
StuBL is a platform that goes beyond a typical job board. We strive to create meaningful links between students and businesses through a range of features, including student initiated projects for sale, business proposed projects, and forums for open communication. We want to help students gain valuable experience while working towards their degrees, and to provide businesses with quality work by verified students from colleges and universities around the world. By fostering these connections, we hope to create relationships that can evolve into rewarding careers.
Student Initiated Projects: Off-The-Shelf and Service Offerings
For students, StuBL provides an opportunity to showcase and sell off-the-shelf projects to businesses, giving them a chance to demonstrate what they've learned and done for real-world applications. Additionally, StuBL allows students to list service offerings, which are tailorable projects designed to meet specific business requirements. These two student initiated project types - off-the-shelf and service offering - help students to gain work experience while still studying.
Business Proposed Projects: From One-Off Projects to Virtual Internships
For businesses, StuBL offers access to a pool of talented and verified college and university students who can provide quality work for custom projects. Before StuBL, it was challenging for businesses to find interns or even custom ready-made projects without committing significant company resources or risk projects being done by an unverifiable person somewhere in the world. StuBL verifies student credentials, ensuring businesses receive top-quality work from verified and trusted sources, without the need for costly internships or freelancer fees.

First, businesses can create and propose projects for students to view, respond to and bid upon. Once the business finds the right proposal, they negotiate and coordinate the full project details - whether it is a single piece of work or a series of projects that effectively create a virtual internship. Only upon delivery and satisfaction of the project's terms will the funds be released to the student. StuBL even has a dispute resolution mechanism for unsatisfactory work.
Second, businesses can search for and find student initiated projects that are off-the-shelf work or student service offerings. Just like business proposed projects, businesses can negotiate terms and any additional requirements before creating the contract, and can dispute unsatisfactory work.
With StuBL, businesses partner with verified students to find quality work, build relationships, and hopefully begin careers.
StuBL helps students build their resumes and earn money two ways.
First, students can search for and view business proposed projects. They then create and submit a proposal, either solo, with a group of local students, or even with a global team they build from their connections in our StuBL forum. Finally, the student (or students) submits their completed project to the business, gets paid, and adds experience to their resume(s).
Second, students can upload work they've completed for coursework, projects, or just their own creations they want to sell. Businesses can preview these student initiated projects and discuss purchase and intellectual property or licensing agreement terms with the student seller.
Finally, the business buys the project and the student gets to add that experience to their resume!
